High Point and Parish Boundary on Llantysilio Mountain
High Point and Parish Boundary on Llantysilio Mountain
This high point on the Llantysilio Mountain ridge is not very high, but the parish boundary fence changes direction here on the left - see SJ1445 : Llantysilio Mountain and Parish Boundary . The two large boulders, possibly glacial erratics and possibly placed here by man, also suggest that it has been an important place for a long time. The crossing point for the ridge, Bwlch y Groes, is to the right. Moel Famau and the Clwydian Hills can be seen in the far distance.
