Old Section Of The A1, Penmanshiel
An old section of the A1, with catseyes and road markings still visible in places after over 30 years. Following the Penmanshiel Tunnel collapse in March 1979, the East Coast Main Line was re-routed which also necessitated re-routing of the A1, to the west.
