Hen Dafarn Fourcrosses Old Inn
The original village was Rhydygwystl (Egwystl's Ford), centred around SH4039 : Pont Rhydygwystl Bridge. When the road was built to the hoped-for port to Ireland at Porthdinllaen, the Fourcrosses was built on the crossroads. Hence the name Y Ffr - the four (crosses).
