SK1799 : Confluence of Laund Clough and Loftshaw Brook

taken 10 years ago, 3 km from Dunford Bridge, Barnsley, Great Britain

Confluence of Laund Clough and Loftshaw Brook
Confluence of Laund Clough and Loftshaw Brook
Below this point the combined waters of Laund Clough (left) and Loftshaw Brook (right) are known as Hordron Clough, and a little further downstream it becomes the Porter or Little Don River. Odd that such a minor river should have such an abundance of names along its short course.
