NC1348 : Geodh' a' Bhrisidh

taken 11 years ago, 3 km from Tarbet, Highland, Scotland

Geodh' a' Bhrisidh
Geodh' a' Bhrisidh
Geodh' a' Bhrisidh is the correct name for this feature which is commonly known as Puffin Bay. The large flattish rock in the sea is an old stack which would have started off as part of the former cliff before becoming separated. A smaller pinnacle-type stack is shown towards the end of the cliff. It's a 90 metre drop here, which is a long way down.
