The Armoury, Castle Street
The Armoury, Castle Street
Named after its occupation during the Napoleonic Wars the 19th century facade actually hides an interior that dates from the original building of the new town in the 13th century. The smaller building to the right is the 19th century town well built through public subscription in 1831 and in use until 1896.
