NT0148 : Waterfall in the North Medwin

taken 10 years ago, 3 km from Newbigging, South Lanarkshire, Great Britain

Waterfall in the North Medwin.
Waterfall in the North Medwin.
At this waterfall in Backmoor wood, the North Medwin has at some time in the past been used to feed a watermill, the dry mill stream channel on the left is now blocked by trees, but the pile of stone blocks obviously came from the retaining wall.
