SU4655 : Byway off Great Litchfield Down

taken 11 years ago, near to Litchfield, Hampshire, Great Britain

Byway off Great Litchfield Down
Byway off Great Litchfield Down
Combe opens out to reveal a gentle descent to the disused railway and the A34 immediately beyond. The bank on the right was littered with rabbit warrens, many of whom were running like mad back to their burrows as I approached. We are not far from Watership Down territory.
