Dewpond and Beech Trees
Dewpond and Beech Trees
On the route between Nuthanger Down and Ladle Hill, the bridleway becomes a little indistinct. It passes a down-crest dewpond (typical of many in the area as an early way for collecting water on this otherwise well-drained soil. The scarp falls steeply to the north (right) beyond the trees.
