Disused footpath on the A5 nr. Hinckley Island Hotel

This footpath appears to have not been used for some time- the stile is almost completely overgrown with weeds. This is not really surprising as there is no footpath leading upto it and the A5 traffic here is absolutely horrendous - very fast and lots of it. Oh! and there's the small matter of the speed cameras!
