Belton Estate from Bellmount Tower
Belton Estate from Bellmount Tower
Owned by the National Trust, Belton House is a large Restoration house built by Lord Brownlow whose descendants were still living there when the estate was bequeathed to the Trust in the late 20th Century. This shows the parkland to the east of the house, seen at the end of the avenue of trees. You can just make out a blue car in the centre of the picture on the lane running across the park.
