Chapel on the Glendaruel Estate
Chapel on the Glendaruel Estate
The chapel on the Glendaruel Estate was built by Harrison Cripps, the London surgeon who removed King Edward's appendix, for his mistress and second wife, Renate Ravogli, an Italian Opera Singer. She was a practising Catholic and there was no other RC chapel in the glen.
