SJ7559 : Canal bridge parapet

taken 11 years ago, near to Wheelock, Cheshire East, England

Canal bridge parapet
Canal bridge parapet
The bridge carries Crewe Road over the Trent and Mersey Canal. The original parapet is quite high and built in local "Staffordshire blue" bricks. The bridge has been widened later to provide a footway.
