Remains of a former bridge over Tarland Burn in Aboyne
Remains of a former bridge over Tarland Burn in Aboyne
In line with the former railway track between Aboyne and Dess stations, which had to cross the Tarland Burn at some point, this bridge site has a suitably graded approach from the north bank. Later replaced/converted for road traffic to access Low Road, it seems to have subsequently suffered catastrophic flood damage.
