TQ1671 : Footbridge over the Thames at Teddington Lock

taken 30 years ago, near to Teddington, Richmond Upon Thames, Great Britain

Footbridge over the Thames at Teddington Lock
Footbridge over the Thames at Teddington Lock
This handsome suspension bridge crosses the Thames from Ferry Road, Teddington (near the Tide End Cottage pub, should you be thirsty) and gives access to Ham Common on the Surrey bank.

I have a lovely book called "Thames Crossings" by Geoffrey Phillips which details the history of every bridge and tunnel across the Thames - except this one!
