Bridge on Withyditch Lane
Bridge on Withyditch Lane
A view looking south along Withyditch Lane, towards the bridge over the old trackbed of the Great Western Railway Camerton Branch. The GWR Limpley Stoke to Camerton branch line closed to traffic in 1951 on the closure of the Camerton colliery, but was used in 1952 in the making of the film “The Titfield Thunderbolt”.
Peasedown St.John can be seen on the horizon.
