Warwick Hall, Burford
Warwick Hall - I found this about it, "The Church of St John the Baptist, Burford has the exciting opportunity to re-develop the mediaeval Warwick Hall in order to provide the necessary space and modern facilities to support a growing church and to serve the needs of the local community. Following feedback from around the community we have now completed the initial planning and have received Planning Consent for the scheme.
Following a very successful pledge day in 2012, the church has 1.2million either pledged or already gifted. This is 40% of the total required. We are applying to various trusts and funds for additional funding using this initial pledge day as an indication of our commitment as a church to make this happen. Everyone connected with the project has been astonished at the response to the pledge day and we thank God for his extraordinary blessing.
We have now commenced the detailed design. This design phase is likely to take all of 2013. We hope to commence construction early in 2014 but that is dependent on final planning and on progress with fundraising."
The wheelie/wheely bin is pretty stunning. I wonder if it was put out for the event, along with the bunting.
