SK5912 : Above Cossington Lock

taken 4 years ago, near to Rothley, Leicestershire, Great Britain

Above Cossington Lock
Above Cossington Lock
The footbridge on the left carries the navigation towpath across the channel to the weir, which also served Cossington Mill. The River Soar continues straight ahead, but despite the craft moored along it, this is not the navigation which follows the course of the River Wreake to the left for approximately a mile.
