Geograph - photograph every grid square

This building opened in 2011 was the first new building in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter. The college was formerly hemmed in on this side by the Radcliffe Infirmary buildings. Redevelopment gave an opportunity to put a long thin building along the college's northern perimeter. It was designed by Niall McLaughlin Architects. The area between the new building and the New Mathematical Institute will be a public lane from Woodstock Road to Walton Street once construction of surrounding buildings is complete.
