SD2388 : Thornthwaite Latter Rigg

taken 5 years ago, near to Lower Hawthwaite, Cumbria, Great Britain

Thornthwaite Latter Rigg
Thornthwaite Latter Rigg
The top of the rigg is just over 75m asl and is marked by a neat cairn. Despite its modest elevation it rises high enough above the low-lying Woodland Valley to afford excellent views of the much grander Coniston fells to the north.
