NM4267 : Net-veining

taken 5 years ago, near to Portuairk, Highland, Great Britain

This is a classic example of net-veining. The darker rock is quartz-dolerite, and the pale network of veins is microgranite which has filled in cracks in the quartz-dolerite. GPS for scale (Garmin Etrex). Compare with a similar phenomenon on Ros Goill C1343 : Net Veining.
