103 Denmark Hill
103 Denmark Hill
One of a pair of mid-C19th houses bookending a late C20th building for Maudsley Hospital which now covers this site. Its height and Ionic porch impart a degree of grandeur. Grade II listed.
This building is occupied by the hospital's Eating Disorders Research group, and the Affective Disorders Research group, which "works to understand more about the neurobiological causes of mood disorders ... mental illnesses where the normal functioning of mood is disrupted, including clinical depression and bipolar disorder."
