Salterns Way in Salterns Copse
Salterns Way in Salterns Copse
Salterns Copse is a small roughly triangular wood to the north of Chichester Marina. Salterns Way (which seems to take its name from this copse) is an 18km cycle route from the centre of Chichester to the sand dunes of East Head.
The view here is along the southeast boundary of Salterns Copse. Another footpath (see SU8201 : Footpath from Chichester Marina to Dell Quay) leads off on a more westerly route along the curving western perimeter of the copse.
