Where Coal was once King
Where Coal was once King
The last vestiges of the coal mining industry in Lower Ince was the land sales yard on part of the Moss Pits site. This has now gone too, and in its place machinery sorts, grades and crushes rubble from demolition sites, for re-use as hard-core, thus saving valuable land-fill space.
