I apologise for the dark shadow which I can't explain, but can still get a good idea of the general items on sale at the time. The shop was opened by my grandfather at 56 Rathbone Place W1 in 1962, after selling his music school nearby as he did better selling the instruments than teaching. The shop was sold in the late 90s and remains as it was outside to this day.
