St Augustine's Church, Hedon, Yorkshire
Memorial to Ann Watson, buried 28 May 1721. Ann bequeathed all her estates to the ministers and churchwardens of Sutton on Hull, Hedon and Holy Trinity, Kingston upon Hull, for the endowment of a hospital or college 'for clergymen's widows and clergymen's daughters, old maids, and for a school for teaching children'. Her home, the White House in Stoneferry, was used as the college until 1762, when a new building was erected there. In 1816, the trustees of Ann's charity built a new hospital or college in Sutton, which is still in use today: TA1132 : College Street, Sutton on Hull, Yorkshire
