Clipper Ship 'City of Adelaide' Irvine Harbourside
The oldest clipper ship in the world. Built 1864 in Sunderland by William Pile, Hay & Co. The only other surviving clipper is Cutty Sark (1869). Here in Irvine, preparations are underway for its final voyage to South Australia.
