Traffic island with stripy kerb, Woodstock Lane North
Striped kerb islands were normal until the 60s, the junction has stripy kerbs all round it which are still found occasionally but this is the first remaining island I've come across which still has them. Looking towards the sliproad to the A3 Kingston Bypass.
