The Glebe House, Weobley
The Glebe House, Weobley
Viewed from Church Road. A nearby Weobley Heritage Trail information board states that The Glebe House, probably the only Georgian house in Weobley, was built c1780 as a private dwelling. In 1821 it became the vicarage, which had previously been in a medieval house in Meadow Street. After the Church of England sold the building in 1986, it was renamed Glebe House. By a happy coincidence, it was discovered years later that Glebe House was the building's original name.
