Grand Union Canal: Bridge Number 60
Grand Union Canal: Bridge Number 60
Bridge Number 60 was built as a farmers' accommodation bridge allowing access from Yardley Gobion to the fields on the north-east side of the canal. From the stone tablet set in the brickwork of the arch it was rebuilt in 1936, although the abutments may be the originals from around 1798. It is just south of Yardley Wharf.
