Aston under snow 11-Birmingham
On this cold, grey day this view shows the junction of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, finally completed in 1789, with the Grand Union Canal, joining from the right. The Grand Union was once composed of eight separate canals, forming a rather fragmented connection between Birmingham and London.
