Renovation of an old building on Castle Street, Conwy
Renovation of an old building on Castle Street, Conwy
This building has remained boarded up for many years, however renovation seems to be underway.
It bears an inscription above the doorway of 1589 and is next door to the Blue Bell pub on the right. Interestingly enough there were a number of jackdaw efigys on the roof which in itself looked fairly modern. Jackdaws are associated with Conwy having roosted in the town and its surrounds. Apparently anyone born within the town walls is known as a jackdaw.
