NT2573 : Castlehill during the Festival

Castlehill during the Festival
Castlehill during the Festival
Possibly the most congested spot in Edinburgh during the Festival, as almost every visitor to the city wants at some point to wander up the Royal Mile to the Castle Esplanade. Here the street narrows to form a bit of a bottleneck. The view is temporarily dominated by the back of the main grandstand erected for the Military Tattoo.
