Golf Course Development following Woodland Clearance
Golf Course Development following Woodland Clearance
This new part of the course does not appear quite matured yet. Less than 100 metres to the left, today, mature trees were being felled to clear yet another area to be used privately by members. As I noted on that picture, the Woodland Trust can't save every wood, however beautiful. Note a strip of exposed bedrock red Bunter Sandstone below the trees.....sand not considered good enough for the bunker!!
