Bredon Tithe Barn
Bredon Tithe Barn
Although called a tithe barn, one of the information boards inside states that it is almost certainly a manorial barn, built c.1350 to store the produce of the manor farm. The barn is Grade I listed, and the listing details state that the room over the porch was the bailiff'e solar, a comfortable room with a fireplace. The chimney with its conical cover is medieval. The barn is not signposted; it is up the next driveway off the B4080 westwards from the milestone obelisk.
