Round reservoir Route in Long Wood
Round reservoir Route in Long Wood
This track (is part of the long route) leading from Bryant's Farm and Newbarn Farm, leading around the reservoir through Long Wood near Little Whiligh Farm, towards Combewell Wood.

At this section, it passes beside a woodland stream (leading towards the reservoir). But the stream is in a steep valley, requiring the bank beside the footpath to be reinforced. With railway sleepers.
The Bewl Water Round Reservoir Ride
The 12 mile Round Reservoir Route is open to walkers all year round and to cycles and horses during the drier months. The track passes through beautiful countryside of species rich woodland and meadow and, for part of the route, takes to quiet country lanes to circumnavigate the Nature Reserve.
