Zeta Mnemonical sculpture in Marine Walk, Swansea
One of many items of public artwork in and near Swansea's Maritime Quarter, Zeta Mnemonical indicates wind direction. On top, a small copper sculpture incorporates a harmonica, the bass and treble sections of which face two directions inside copper wind funnels.
Zeta recalls a bygone age when copper ore came by sea from South America to Swansea for smelting. Beaten copper forms an important part of the sculpture.
