NT2737 : Cloud in the valley from Craig Head

taken 4 years ago, near to Kirkburn, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Cloud in the valley from Craig Head
Cloud in the valley from Craig Head
On the ridge up to Craig Head, looking across to Lee Pen over the cloud-filled Tweed valley with the intermediate ridge of Cardrona Hill. A chilly night with no wind has led to a temperature inversion giving that pleasant reward for climbing from the cool moist valley into warm drier air above.
