SH5460 : Summit area of Cefn-du

Summit area of Cefn-du
Summit area of Cefn-du
Cefn-du is a low hill close to the village of Waunfawr on the periphery of Snowdonia. It's a fairly desolate spot with ruined buildings scattered about the summit area and the massive, disused, Cefn-du Quarry on the slopes, with of course its huge attendant waste heaps. The dullness of the day - it was raining - only added to the sense of gloom there!
