'New' pews in Lanchester Parish chuerch
In 1939 when the last of the traditional 'family pew boxes' had been removed, new oak pews made by Robert Thompson of Kilburn (NRY) SE5179 : The Mouseman Visitor Centre, Kilburn were installed. His was the famous village furniture factory that signed all its products with a discreet carved mouse. See LinkExternal link .
