St Mary's has music for all. The organ, however, has a varied history: it was originally made in the early seventeenth century and destined to play in Gloucester Cathedral. However, by 1663 the instrument and the pipes were playing in Bristol Cathedral. The organ then travelled to Chepstow, perhaps as early as 1685, and has been updated and renovated since.
