The former drover's road between Abergwesyn and Tregaron descends here along the western side of the valley. The road was only surfaced (I think) in the 1960s, and is now a tortuous (and popular) drivers' route, impassable in icy conditions, or when the Afon Irfon is in flood. Drivers, enjoy the view ... at your peril. :-)

See that track in the centre of the image? That is a forestry road which also leads to another drover route to Strata Florida. The road to Tregaron passes to the left by that isolated far rowan tree by the forestry road.
