Up towards Leathad an Taobhain
Up towards Leathad an Taobhain
The Feshie valley formed part of an alternative route to the old cattle drovers' road - The Minigaig - which ran from Kingussie on Speyside to Blair Atholl on the River Garry. If starting or finishing on Deeside, this route would naturally lead you up/down the upper Feshie, and would have crossed the watershed at the Minigaig Pass in NN8286 This pass is in the area of the two 'notches' on the far skyline, between the Corbett of Leathad an Taobhain on the left, and hills of similar height on the right.
