The old GNR mainline to Peterborough and the north passing through Monken Hadley Common. A southbound class 317 multiple unit heads up the fast line towards Kings Cross. In the distance can be seen the twin bores of Hadley Wood tunnel, beyond which is Hadley Wood station.
