St Cuthbert's 'Community Room'
St Cuthbert's 'Community Room'
A prize-winning architectural annexe to the north side of St Cuthbert's Church in 1990. The church wall, of Penshaw Sandstone, as seen within this room has been cleared of the effects of over a century of weathering to present a pale creamy-yellow surface; whilst the church windows have been soundproofed by added plain glass double glazing.
