Stile on Elland Footpath 38
This is where the path was diverted in 1874. It used to follow the edge of Holywell Brook, but is now between walls alongside the railway viaduct before turning left under a viaduct arch to a footbridge over the stream. The stile consists of two small through stone slabs, one of which is partly covered on this side by a piece of wooden fencing jammed between a small tree and the wall.
