 Black Hall, Kings Pyon
Black Hall, Kings Pyon
Ancient farmstead, seen from the church tower. Owned in the 18th century by the Tomkyns family and famed as the birthplace of Hereford cattle in 1742. Still very much in business as a farm, but the house is privately rented. Outbuildings are being renovated and converted. The house has some magnificent timbers and dates to the late 14th century.
