The cliff railway, Oddicombe beach, Babbacombe
Opened on the 1st of April 1926. Operated by machinery housed in the lower station, it carries passengers up and down the steep cliff below Babbacombe Downs. For security reasons it ceased operation during WW2 and reopened in 1951.
