Worfield Village Hall, near Worfield, Shrops
The hall is a short way outside the built-up part of the village. It dates from 1913 when a former Worfield Vicar, Robert Cecil Harwood Evans, donated the funding and a Mrs Morrison of Wyken provided the land. Originally it was known as the Worfield Recreation Room and was a kind of working mens club, but over the years it evolved into a typical village hall, which is the usual name it is known by today. This information comes from a useful web site set up by the hall, which gives a lot more details.
