NT0576 : Gullying

taken 4 years ago, near to Philpstoun, West Lothian, Great Britain

The gully has been formed by water erosion. Run-off from higher up during heavy rainfall has cut into the loose spent shale. It looked much more dramatic on the spot than it does in this photograph!
